Hi everyone!

I am sending this note in regards to a couple dates that will be here before we know it.

1. Baseball program player/parent meeting: BHS library at 6:45pm on September 12th. If your son plans to play baseball in the spring, please prioritize this meeting as we will discuss the year in advance. This will be our first time to talk about program expectations, meet the coaches, meet our board, fall baseball, winter workouts, spring season, and summer ball.

2. Fall baseball:
Weight room is open each day after school. Please utilize it on non-practice days as strength is very important for baseball. Coach Rein who runs the weight room has a baseball specific workout waiting for you!

Baseball team practice attire: Please ensure you have a hat, black shirt, baseball pants, belt, flat athletic shoes and cleats for each practice. Spikes or molded are ok for cleats.

September 25th is the first date OSAA allows baseball specific activities.

Midweek practices will all focus on baseball fundamentals. Saturday practice will be focused on the mental approach to hitting scenario’s and defense in a simulated scrimmage; for our Black and Orange fall series! Registration will open the first week of school in ParentVue. All players will need to be registered in order to participate.

Fall Schedule:
All practices will be held at the stadium.
September 12th and 14th- Speed and agility only. 4:30- 5:30pm
September 19th and 21st- Speed and agility only. 4:30-5:30pm
September 26th and 28th. 4:30-6pm: Fundamentals
September 30th. 9am-12pm: Simulated Scrimmage
October 3rd and 5th. 4:30-6pm: Fundamentals
October 7th. 9am-12pm: Simulated Scrimmage
October 10th and 12th. 4:30-6pm: Fundamentals
October 14th. 9am-12pm: Simulated Scrimmage
October 17th and 19th. 4:30-6pm: Fundamentals
October 21st. 9am-12pm: Simulated Scrimmage
October 24th and 26th. 4:30-6pm: Fundamentals
October 28th. 9am-12pm: Simulated Scrimmage- Costume game!
November 1st and 3rd. 4:30pm-6pm: Fundamentals (adjusting this week for Halloween)
November 4th. 9am-12pm: Simulated Scrimmage
November 7th and 9th. 4:30pm-6pm: Fundamentals
November 11th. 9am-12pm: Simulated Scrimmage
